Welcome to DietLoom.com, a digital marketplace for diet and nutrition plans. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the platform as a Seller. Please read them carefully before registering or listing any products or services. By creating a seller account or uploading content, you agree to comply with these Terms in full.
1. Definitions
- “Platform” – refers to the DietLoom.com website and its services.
- “Seller” – any user who registers to offer diet plans, consultations, or related services.
- “Customer” – users who purchase products or services on the platform.
- “Content” – includes diet plans, videos, documents, descriptions, and all other materials uploaded by sellers.
2. General Conditions for Platform Use
- You must be at least 18 years old to use DietLoom as a seller.
- You agree not to violate any applicable local, national, or international laws in the course of your use of the platform.
- You must provide accurate registration details, and you are responsible for keeping your account secure.
- DietLoom reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate access to the platform at its discretion.
3. Eligibility to Become a Seller
To list on DietLoom, you must:
- Have formal education or certification in relevant fields such as dietetics, nutrition, fitness training, health coaching, or other related disciplines.
- Provide verifiable proof of credentials upon registration or upon request.
- Comply with all professional codes of conduct associated with your qualifications.
DietLoom may refuse or revoke seller privileges if these requirements are not met.
4. Listing Requirements
You agree that:
- All content uploaded must be original, or you must have the legal right to distribute it.
- Diet plans must be evidence-based, safe, and clearly described (e.g., target audience, expected outcomes, dietary restrictions).
- Services such as consultations must include accurate availability, delivery format (e.g., video call, chat), and pricing.
- No claims of medical cures, extreme weight loss, or unverified benefits are permitted.
5. Seller Responsibilities
As a seller, you are responsible for:
- Delivering purchased content or services in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of customer data and adhering to privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Responding to customer questions and complaints promptly.
- Keeping your listings up to date, including availability, pricing, and product accuracy.
- Paying all applicable taxes, duties, or other legal charges on your earnings.
6. Commission, Fees & Payouts
- DietLoom will deduct a commission fee from each sale. The fee structure will be disclosed upon account setup and may be updated with notice.
- Payouts will be issued via designated payment processors on a regular schedule (weekly or monthly).
- You must provide accurate payment details to receive earnings.
- In case of chargebacks or refunds, the relevant amount may be deducted from your future payouts.
7. Content Rights and Licensing
- You retain ownership of all your original content.
- By uploading to DietLoom, you grant the platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, market, and distribute your content for transactional purposes.
- You may not upload or sell content owned by third parties unless you have explicit permission.
8. Prohibited Seller Activities
You must not:
- Sell plagiarized or medically unsafe content.
- Falsify your qualifications or impersonate other professionals.
- Mislead customers with false advertising or deceptive product titles.
- Collect customer data for off-platform marketing.
- Offer services or plans that promote unsafe or discriminatory practices (e.g., starvation diets, hate speech, pseudoscience).
9. Reviews and Ratings
- Customers may rate and review your services. You may not:
- Post fake reviews (positive or negative).
- Attempt to manipulate reviews in any way.
- DietLoom may remove reviews that violate platform guidelines or are found to be abusive.
10. Disputes and Refunds
- Sellers are expected to resolve customer issues directly when possible.
- Refunds may be initiated by the platform in cases of:
- Non-delivery.
- Fraudulent content.
- Violation of platform standards.
- Disputes unresolved by the parties may be escalated to DietLoom for mediation.
11. Termination
Your seller account may be suspended or terminated if you:
- Repeatedly violate these Terms.
- Are subject to legal complaints or investigations.
- Engage in behavior that harms the platform or its users.
Termination may result in forfeiture of unpaid earnings in cases of fraud or abuse.
12. Limitation of Liability
DietLoom is not liable for:
- The outcome of any advice or plans you provide.
- Income loss resulting from platform outages or technical errors.
- Any legal consequences resulting from your failure to comply with health or advertising regulations.
You are fully responsible for ensuring your services meet ethical and legal requirements.
13. Modifications to Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Sellers will be notified via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
